Inventory control maintains accurate on-hand balances by means of purchase order receipts, work order receipts, issues, cycle count adjustments, finished goods shipments and also allows for the control of obsolete and consigned inventory.
All inventory movement is associated with a division, warehouse(s) and general ledger account numbers. The inventory can be segmented into as many categories as the user wishes with the associated dollars reflected in the appropriate general ledger account.
Recording of issues to a work order provides flexibility and ease of use for storeroom personnel. And, being Internet based you have immediate access from any location to any inventory item for all plants, warehouses and other stocking locations. This includes all inventory transaction history for specified time periods.
